Jamie Spears, who is also Brit's legal conservator, and manager Larry Rudolph said in a joint statement that "Britney is never pressured into anything."
"She reviews all creative material and for her 'Work Bitch' video she discussed toning down some parts in finding a balance of sexy and being a mom."
Conceding that there's a lot of sex involved in being Britney Spears, she said in a radio interview that felt she was being pushed too hard in this case.
Spears did not name names, but said she watched the "Work Bitch" music video, had the raciest scenes cut ... and is still uneasy about the finished product.
The issue of her being "pressured" is more significant than it would be with, say, Miley Cyrus or Rihanna, because of Britney's mental health history.Brit is under a conservatorship and has been for almost six years, because she's mentally fragile, unstable and not legally able to fend for herself.
She's made an absolutely tremendous comeback since her meltdowns of late 2007 and early 2008, in large part because of her father's stewardship.
That said, Jamie and Larry are her protectors, and basically call the shots, so if she was forced into something, their actions (or inaction) will be questioned.
